Shanahan Harness is now offering a line of Combined Driving harness which we have created for use on our own competition horses and ponies. We offer 3 styles which are marathon harness, presentation harness, and a three phase harness. The marathon harness is specifically crafted to withstand the rigors of the combined driving marathon course. The presentation harness is created with perfection in mind to make your turnout shine. The three phase harness is a combination of the presentation and marathon harness which is suitable for all 3 phases of combined driving for those of you who are looking to have one all around harness.
Shanahan marathon harness includes:
- Choice of black or russet leather
- Hand sewn keepers
- Padding on the crown, chinstrap, noseband, breastcollar, saddle, bellyband, and breeching seat
- Reinforced traces and stress points
- Choice of collar or breastcollar style
- Stainless steel hardware with stainless steel tongues
Shanahan presentation harness includes:
- Choice of black or russet leather
- Hand sewn keepers
- Raised leather where appropriate
- Accented with patent leather on the bridle, collar, backpad, trace carriers, martingale, and breeching seat
- 4 rows of stitching throughout harness
- Choice of kay collar, rim collar, or breast collar
- Choice of brass, stainless steel, or chrome hardware. All buckles have stainless steel tongues.
- Deep cupped blinds
